I have a passion for social justice and people-first narratives. I enjoy writing stories that center people, their needs, and their love. I also love learning something new on the job. I’m open to work now and would love to chat more about my experience and how I can add value to your team.

I was most recently a news reporter at Investopedia, a People Inc. publication, and specialized in retirement, Social Security, Medicare, and policy. I’ve also served as an AmeriCorps VISTA on the Michigan Community Service Commission’s communications team, where I focused on reporting and highlighting the “good stories” relating to volunteerism and service in Michigan. I have extensive experience covering the LGBTQIA+ community, seniors, healthcare, and politics, and a deep love for pop culture, fashion, and sustainability. My work is published in Pride Source, Fortune, Business Insider, Women’s Health, and Apartment Therapy, among other publications. I graduated with my MSJ from the Medill School of Journalism in August of 2023 and specialized in social justice and solutions-based reporting.
